I noticed that Spakenburg's second indoor football team, FC Robo, had an old website on which no updates had been posted for years. I was asked to create a new one, along with designing a logo for the team.

FC Robo has a rich history. It is a team made up of brothers and won the league three times. The letters Ro from the name ‘FC Robo’ come from the ray, an animal that symbolises the family the brothers come from. This, together with a boat symbolising Spakenburg harbour (the pride of the village and thus the football team) and the symbol of SV Spakenburg, the club the team belongs to.
The stingray's tail gives the logo its rounded shape. The stingray's fins also look like waves on which the boat sails. The colour that is just lighter than royal blue is the pride of the team and club, a nickname for which is ‘the Blue’. Other variations with golden hues were made to mark the team's 20th anniversary.

For the website, it was also clear that blue should be used in abundance, along with gold, black and white. You are immediately introduced to the team and its atmosphere on the homepage. After a gallery of sponsors, the website leads you to a page of FC Robo's rich history, which I personally think has turned out best. There is also a system for releasing news items, announcing events and the league standings are on the website.
